Museum of Islamic Art, Cairo
The Museum of Islamic Art in Cairo, Egypt has a collection of more than 100,000 items, but many are small objects like coins, glass weights and shards. Nonetheless, the museum also has a substantial collection of metalwork as well as woodwork, textiles, stone and glass, many of them Egyptian.
